Stir Fry Lentil with Jute Leaf is a popular recipe in Bangladesh for summer season. Most of the people in Bangladesh are like this recipe.leafy vegetables and lentil is really nutritious. Only the tender younger version of Jute plants are used in the preparation. Its a quick recipe.Lets get started!

Ingredients:

  1. Young tender Jute leaf
  2. Lentil
  3. Onion
  4. Green Chili
  5. Salt to taste

How to cook perfect Pat Shak Mushur Dal Bhaja

Step 1

Plucked young tender leaves Clean them well.Drain out as much water as possible from the leaves.Chop the jute leaf. Chop the onion, Garlic and green chili.Properly wash the lentil and drain out water .

Step 2

Properly Mixed the all ingredients as like picture.

Step 3

At first pour vegetable oil in the pre heated fry pan then poured all ingredients mixture.Cover the pan with lid and fry medium flame for five minutes.The leaves will start releasing water. Let them cook in its own juice. Do not add any more water.

Step 4

When the leaves and Mushur dal are cooked, remove the lid and increase the flame. Continuously stir until the water dries out completely. Do not over fry otherwise the leaves will lose the natural green color.The dishes is ready for eat.

Serving

Serve Stir fried Jute leaves with mashur dal hot with white steamed rice & any other curry of your choice.
