In Bangladesh the bitter gourd has been called “Korolla” It is found in everywhere of Bangladesh.Korolla and Potato mixed fry is a popular dish in Bangladesh.Bitter gourd is very good natural remedy for cough and cold.It reduces liver problems, builds immunity and is excellent in reducing skin infection.It is a very good source of vitamins and zinc which makes hair stronger.It is a boon to diabetic patients. It helps in reducing bad cholesterol levels as well.

Ingredients:

  1. 3 pices of medium Bitter Gourd
  2. 1 pice of medium Onion
  3. 2 pices of large Potatoes
  4. Teaspoon Turmeric powder
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Mustard oil/Vegetable oil for cooking
  7. 3 pices of green chili

How to cook perfect Aloo Korola Bhaja

Step 1:

At first sliced Bitter Gourd. Socked the sliced bitter Gourd in salted water for half an hour.

Step 2:

Sliced potato’s as like picture. Socked the sliced potato’s in normal water for five minutes.

Step 3:

Sliced the Green Chili and Onion as like picture.

Step 4:

Mixing the all ingredients properly in bowl.

Step 5:

Add Oil into the pan. Once the Oil is hot, add mixture of Potatoes and and others ingredients.

Step 6:

Cover the pan and cook them for 5 minutes in high flame. Stir occasionally.Cook it for 4 minutes in medium high flame without cover.

Step 7:

Cook them until the vegetables get tender.

Serving:

Serve the dish with hot plain Rice, Ghee and enjoy the bitterness in a super delicious way.
